Our hearts are still breaking for the people of Turkey and Syria. The devastating damage to the infrastructure of the region has put millions in or at the edge of crisis.

For example, the U.N. is reporting that an estimated 850,000 children have been displaced by last month's earthquakes. Also, there are an estimated 356,000 pregnant women in the region, with tens of thousands expected to deliver within weeks. There is great concern that there just aren't enough operational health facilities to adequately handle the new births in the region!

+ + Your support is helping to feed thousands this week...

Right now, through our partners on the ground, Mercy Chefs is helping to feed earthquake victims in both Turkey and Syria who are still just beginning to process the irreparable impact this disaster has had on their lives. In Turkey, thanks to friends like you, Mercy Chefs and our partners were able to supply local bakers with 750kg of flour to bake fresh bread that is being served in tent cities and small villages across the land.

In Syria, our partners inside that country are feeding more than 4,000 children and 2,700 widows with the miraculous bulk pantry items they received through our support and the local funds from their house churches. But the need is very great.

This week, we have the opportunity to help provide meals and support to thousands in both Turkey and Syria. Will you help sponsor 10, 20, 50 or even 100 meals for earthquake victims this week? Go here to support earthquake relief as we continue other vital efforts:

As I've noted to you, this is the worst and most widespread disaster I've seen. Over 50,000 have died. An estimated 1.9 million in Turkey alone have been forced from their homes and are in temporary shelters.

This week, through our partners Mercy Chefs can provide meals and relief to thousands. Please help. And please continue to pray for those who are still suffering.

May God bless you,

Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
