I want you to meet Glen...

Glen lives in Rock Valley, and he just lost everything to the flood.

It was the middle of the night when the waters breached the levee and caused record flooding to inundate Rock Valley. Residents had never seen anything even close to the Flood of '24. Waters rose a full FIVE FEET HIGHER than had ever been recorded. Hundreds of homes and businesses were simply overwhelmed.

“My home is completely destroyed," Glen told us. Now, Glen is not sure what to do next because "I'm too old to start again."

+ + Serving hope in the midst of despair

This is why Mercy Chefs rushes to a disaster zone and provides hot meals to those who have lost hope.

Time and time again, when we hand a disaster victim like Glen a meal you helped provide, we see hope being restored. At first, Glen and others are simply grateful for the gift of a meal. Then, when they open the Mercy Chefs "clamshell" and see a chef-prepared, restaurant-quality meal, they are almost in disbelief.

That's when hope begins to sink in.

Someone actually cares enough to prepare for them the highest quality of meals. Maybe this disaster isn't the end of the story...

YOU are the caring person who makes these meals possible! Today in Rock Valley, we're hand-delivering meals to thousands who need help. And we need YOUR help!

Would you prayerfully consider sponsoring 10, 20, 50, or even 100 meals we're serving today and tomorrow to Glen and others in Rock Creek? Go here:

On behalf of the people of northwest Iowa, thanks and God bless!
