This is a BIG WEEK for Mercy Chefs.
We will be serving thousands of holiday meals at four locations beginning on Wednesday and continuing through the weekend. It is such a joy for our team to reach out into communities where this may be the only Christmas dinner and Christmas celebration these families will ever have.
We do this especially for the kids...
Our holiday meals and events cost about twice as much as a typical meal we serve during a disaster, because we want to make sure these events are true celebrations of the Christmas season. We typically have gifts and prizes for the kids, and we serve a full Christmas dinner complete with all the fixings.
In all, we're serving about 7,500 meals this Christmas season. As of last check we still were far short of our goal and need to find sponsors for more than 3,500 of these meals -- many of which will be served this weekend!
{{recipient.first_name_or_friend}}, I need your help.
If you want to help reach the less-fortunate with a real Christmas meal and celebration, go here to make your tax-deductible gift and help sponsor holiday meals and keep Mercy Chefs' outreaches growing:

Again, Mercy Chefs is hosting four key events this weekend (Wednesday through Sunday), and we still need your help! Thanks in advance!

P.S. As I noted, we still need friends to help sponsor more than 3,500 holiday meals -- many of which will be served this weekend. Just $50 will help sponsor 10 meals; $100 helps us serve 20 full Christmas dinners. Perhaps the Lord has blessed you and you can do even more (sponsor 100, 200, or even 500 meals). Every gift will help. Go here:
