Devastating flooding has hit Brazil. We have deployed. Go here to help and see below.  --Gary

In what is being called the largest natural disaster in Brazil's history, hundreds of thousands are facing desperate conditions after historic flooding hit the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

The worst effects were felt in Porto Alegre, where a majority of the population is suffering from the effects of the torrential rains. The floodwaters are not expected to subside for weeks. Thousands of families urgently need help.

+ +Mercy Chefs has deployed to Brazil...

This is an immense disaster -- perhaps the worst in Brazil's history. The need is overwhelming. Thousands upon thousands have been displaced from their homes and need help with their next meal.

Mercy Chefs Global is already on the ground in Porto Alegre where we are partnering with a local church to equip a full kitchen to help feed the thousands who are in desperate need.

Can you help as our team is in Brazil working to get relief to thousands? Go here to help with emergency relief for Brazil flood victims:

Again, our team is working right now in Brazil to set up a fully-functioning kitchen that can serve thousands who need help right now. The costs will be quite significant, but the need is urgent and we must move forward immediately.

I'll have more details, hopefully as soon as tomorrow. For today, please pray for the people of Brazil, and help as you can.

God bless,

Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
