Monday Afternoon:

Ann and I arrived back in Louisiana yesterday. As we flew in, the blue tarps
covering damaged homes were EVERYWHERE. The people here are still facing a critical need. Please go here to help us feed Ida victims and crews who are working to restore power, and see below. --Gary

As I shared with you on Friday, Mercy Chefs has been asked to return to Louisiana and help two communities that are still struggling in their recovery from Hurricane Ida.

Yesterday, my wife, Ann, and I arrived in Louisiana where we are partnering with a church in LaPlace. Mercy Chefs will be providing up to 2,000 meals daily to LaPlace and Houma, which was hit hard by the storm. Many families are still picking up the pieces from the storm and need our help. We have a mobile kitchen on site TODAY and will begin serving meals tomorrow.

Now, I need your help!

Specifically, we need about 400 friends to help sponsor meals this week! Will you partner with Mercy Chefs as we return to Louisiana to help families that are still struggling in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida? Your gift today will help us provide meals this week. Go here to help sponsor meals for Ida victims.

And thanks in advance for your help!

God bless,

Gary

P.S. We have received a request for help from the linemen who are working to restore power to a community where there are no restaurants or grocery stores currently operating. They haven't had a hot meal in 10 days! Mercy Chefs will immediately begin providing meals for the crews whose work is critical to the restoration of these communities.

P.P.S. I'm hoping to have all the meals we'll serve this week sponsored by friends like you in the next 48 hours. Can you help by sponsoring, 10, 20, 50, or even 100 meals Mercy Chefs will serve this week? Go here to make your tax-deductible gift:
