Today is GIVING TUESDAY, and I'm asking our Mercy Chefs friends to help us in a special way today as we are facing extraordinary challenges.

As I write, my team is in Honduras helping thousands who are struggling to survive after two massive hurricanes. We'll provide tens of thousands of meals in addition to drinking water and critical supplies this month alone. At the same time, Mercy Chefs will provide more than 125,000 meals to hurting families here at home THIS WEEK to those who have been hard hit by natural disaster and the pandemic shutdown.

In all, Mercy Chefs will likely provide over a HALF-MILLION meals this month -- far more people than we have ever fed in December in our history.

Thousands of families are directly relying on Mercy Chefs to help put food on their tables this holiday season. I'm stepping out in faith to meet the needs in front of us. But I cannot do this alone. I need your help.

Specifically, we've set a $20,000 Giving Tuesday goal to help feed hurting people -- enough to provide tens of thousands of survival meal packs in Honduras along with family food boxes and hot meals this holiday season. Meeting this goal today will go a long way to helping jump start our unprecedented efforts this month.
