The demand continues to increase here. Yesterday, we served over 5,000 meals and we will likely exceed that number again today and through the weekend.

That means we'll need about $17,500 to help meet the needs of the folks here today. Serving these communities through the weekend will require a huge influx of support.

For the sake of the children -- many of whom were only getting one real meal a day -- we must continue. But I need help...

We need 300 friends to step forward and sponsor at least 10 meals today. Perhaps you can do more and sponsor 30 ($105), 50 ($175) or even 100 meals ($350). Every gift will helpGo here to help Mercy Chefs meet this urgent need in Eastern Kentucky right now:

The Lord always seems to send Mercy Chefs to the forgotten and overlooked who have been hit by disaster. We came back to Eastern Kentucky at the request of Sen. Rand Paul's office because the need here is so great. Now, I need your prayers and support to fill this gap that has been caused by the horrible floods and compounded by a winter freeze.

Thank you in advance for helping Mercy Chefs meet this need, and God bless you!

Gary

P.S. As I've noted, the demand for meals has been double what we we were told to expect. That means our costs have been double what we originally planned. That's why your help right now is so vital. Go here:
