Florida Outreach To Hurricane Victims

Mercy Chefs needs your help to provide hot meals to thousands of kids still homeless from Hurricane Michael!

With 40% of all buildings in Panama City still uninhabitable as a result of Hurricane Michael, thousands are being forced to the streets. An estimated 5,000 children are without a permanent place to call home due to the storm, leaving many kids urgently in need of nutritious meals.

Panama City officials have given Mercy Chefs -- Grassfire's disaster relief partner -- one of the shut-down schools with a complete kitchen as our base of operations. Mercy Chefs is now serving both lunch and dinner to kids and their families. All summer, we'll serve between 5,000 and 15,000 meals EVERY WEEK while providing lodging for 80-100 volunteers who will help with the recovery.

Your gift will empower Mercy Chefs to support the Panhandle and similar regions impacted by natural disasters, as they continue other vital efforts. A donation of $50 will help cover the cost of 20 meals and $100 sponsors 40 meals. If the Lord has blessed you, please consider donating $250 (100 meals), $500 (200 meals), $1,000 (400 meals) or more.
