Florida and the entire Southeast are facing a MAJOR, HISTORIC DISASTER.

Hurricane Helene came ashore late last night along Florida's Big Bend as a massive Category 4 storm, leaving millions without power and causing extensive damage across Florida with catastrophic flooding inland.

At last check, over 4 MILLION CUSTOMERS (8 million or more people) are currently without power. Helene had sustained wind speeds of 140 MPH when it hit Florida's Big Bend, and now the storm is causing immense flooding across Georgia (including the Atlanta metro area) and into North Carolina.

Yesterday, in advance of the storm making landfall, Mercy Chefs was already deployed and serving hot meals to Florida first responders. Now, our attention turns to establishing a major base of operations to serve the most people in the hardest hit regions.
