I could use your help as we finish this month. Please go here and see below. --Gary
Last year when Ann and I traveled to the Romania-Ukraine border, we had no idea Mercy Chefs would deliver millions of pounds of food to hurting families on the frontlines of that horrible war. Today, we continue to provide food and meals to those who have been caught in the crossfire of months of war.
We're also reaching out across Latin America like never before. In recent weeks, we've been in Mexico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Honduras and Puerto Rico. We're providing food for families as well as special meal programs for children (like this young boy in Venezuela). In addition, our new state-of-the-art kitchen in Honduras is already serving as a feeding and training center for the region.
Here at home, we've responded to tornado strikes in Mississippi, Arkansas and Virginia -- in addition to feeding thousands through our community kitchens. Plus, we'll be adding more community kitchens later this year so we can feed even more people who need help during tough times.
This week and every week, Mercy Chefs is feeding thousands if not tens of thousands of people. And every meal depends on the support of friends like you.
As we come to the end of this month, we're running behind our budgeted need. So I'm turning to friends like you.
Can I count on your help so we can feed families and keep this lifeline of hope open for those in need? Go here to help:
If just 100 friends can step forward and partner with us in the next 24-48 hours, it would be a great blessing to the children and families we are reaching every day.
Thank you for your prayerful consideration, and may God bless you richly.
Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
