Houston hit by storm, 100 MPH winds. We are rushing relief to Texas...

Houston and southeast Texas were hit with a powerful storm. Winds reached 100 MPH and up to six inches of rain fell -- leaving hundreds of thousands without power and in need of help.

Mercy Chefs -- a relief non-profit that has provided millions of meals to those facing disaster and hardship -- has deployed to Houston to provide relief for this major health safety crisis impacting hundreds of thousands. This is our fourth domestic disaster deployment in less than a month -- while we also respond to the crisis in Brazil. WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP!

UPDATE--With a heat advisory in place and heat indexes reaching over 100 degrees, chef-prepared meals are vital. We are deploying multiple mobile kitchens. Please help us serve Houston and surrounding communities.
