I want to share with you a heartwarming story from our new kitchen in Honduras.

Earlier this year, we officially opened this kitchen, which is a fully-equipped facility that will serve as a model for our efforts in food distribution and training across the developing world.

This month, our church partners in Honduras began feeding preschool children daily from our kitchen. We know many of these beautiful kids have little to eat at home, which makes what we are doing even more important. The meals friends like you help provide fill their stomachs and bring smiles to their faces.

As I write, the same story is being repeated in the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Turkey, Ukraine and Myanmar. These are some of the regions of the world that have been hit hardest by war and natural disaster, causing millions to be displaced and pushing families and children to the very brink.

This year, the Lord is opening doors for us to feed more people in more places and more ways than ever before through Mercy Chefs Global. If we found enough friends to partner with us, we could easily double our global efforts in the next year. The need is that great!

I'm turning to you for help.

This month, we will serve thousands of children and struggling families through Mercy Chefs Global. Will you help by sponsoring 10, 20, 50 or even 100 meals? Go here to help hurting children and families:

I never imagined that Mercy Chefs would be feeding people on multiple continents. But the Lord has opened the doors and we are following our mission to "Just Go Feed People" -- wherever the need is!

And it's more than meals. Our chefs are teaching and training locals in how to best serve their communities through meals and food distribution. For those in desperate need, nutritious food and especially a hot meal is the global language of love and the foundation for restoring and strengthening communities.

Thank you for partnering with us, and God bless you!

Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
