Serving Hot Meals THIS EVENING to Louisiana Storm Victims
Go here to sponsor meals we are serving now.

I'm here in Houma, Louisiana, with our Mercy Chefs team where Hurricane Francine came ashore as a Category 2 storm, causing widespread destruction, flooding, and power outages.

Francine was a surprise to forecasters. It developed rapidly in the Gulf over the weekend and struck Louisiana very hard. This is the FIFTH Category 2 or stronger storm that has hit Louisiana since 2020!

+ + We are serving hot meals THIS EVENING!

Mercy Chefs has established our base of relief operations right here in Houma at the epicenter of the greatest need. We've been working hard all day and I'm thrilled to report...

Mercy Chefs is serving hot, chef-prepared meals THIS EVENING to Hurricane Francine victims here in Houma!

Now I need the help of every Mercy Chefs friend and partner.

We will serve thousands of meals today through this weekend. Can I count on you to help by sponsoring 10, 20, 50, or even 100 or more meals?

Again, this storm packed a punch. A local TV station carried live a Good Samaritan's rescue of a man trapped in his car as it was being overwhelmed by floodwaters. As I noted, coastal Louisiana has been hit over and over in recent years. The people here are resilient, but they are weary from these storms.

They need our help right now!

Please...

Of course, every gift will help. And please pray for the families impacted by this storm, emergency workers, and for our team.

Thanks and God bless you,

Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
