Later today, Ann and I will board our flight for Ukraine to support our special holiday outreaches for the people there.

+ + Tough times in Ukraine...

Sadly, Ukraine faces a very difficult winter. Russia's war has no end in sight, and Ukraine is now gripped in an energy crisis that will make matters even more difficult. Plus, winter temperatures have set in. The high temperatures in Kiev over the next 10 days are expected to barely get above freezing.

We are returning to support Mercy Chefs' relief efforts which have been operating from our warehouse on the Romania-Ukraine border continuously since the very first days of the war in late February. This month, Mercy Chefs will eclipse FOUR MILLION pounds of food and supplies delivered to Ukrainians inside the country all the way to the front lines of the war.

Our team will be headed inside Ukraine to visit refugees at one of the orphanages Mercy Chefs is supporting. In addition to food, we'll be providing toys and clothes for the children who have had their world turned upside down this year.

This is an extremely difficult time for so many Ukrainians...

If you share our mission to help Ukrainians who have been caught in the crossfire of this horrible war, please help with a special gift today as we reach out this month in Ukraine. Go here to make your tax-deductible gift:

This trip to Ukraine is an important part of our holiday outreaches this year. Each holiday season, we return to places that have been hit hard by disaster or hardship. For Thanksgiving, we were in Florida providing thousands of full holiday meals to Hurricane Ian victims. All throughout December, we are reaching out with holiday meals to those facing tough times through our community kitchens. Then later this month, our teams will be in both Puerto Rico and Honduras distributing holiday meals, groceries and toys and clothes for the kids.

But first, we head back to Ukraine.

Will you stand with us as we stand with the people of Ukraine, especially the children?

Your gift of just $50 can help us bless about 10 Ukrainian children this holiday season. Perhaps you can donate more and help us reach more people.

Also, please PRAY for our team as we travel. Ukraine is still very much in the grips of war. With winter setting in and a mounting energy crisis, the situation could become even more unstable.

Thank you so much for your prayers and your support.

May God bless you,

Gary and Ann LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
