Our team is in Live Oak, Florida, near where Idalia came ashore as a Category 3 storm with record storm surge for this part of Florida. Click below to watch an update I recorded shortly after we arrived on site:

There is a good deal of chaos in these small counties that have never dealt with a disaster of this magnitude. Mercy Chefs is being asked to provide meals for search and rescue teams working as far as an hour from our base of operations. I want to make sure these teams receive the care they need. In addition, the damage here is extensive and very widespread geographically which adds to the challenge.
