Yesterday, four members of our Mercy Chefs team departed for Turkey to support ongoing relief efforts that are underway with our partners.

Two of our chefs are leading the way and will be helping to maximize the relief effortsthat are taking place through the container kitchens that have been set up.

+ + Earthquake victims still in crisis

As I write, the entire region is still gripped with crisis. Many areas look as if the earthquake hit just a few days ago. Millions have been impacted and hundreds of thousands have been forced from their homes.

To make matters worse, the region was hit by deadly flash flooding over the past week that swept away vehicles and temporary housing for quake victims.

Right now, Mercy Chefs and our partners are feeding THOUSANDS every day across Turkey and northern Syria. We are reaching into some of the hardest hit regions where earthquake victims are relying daily on the generosity of friends like you.

Will you help me keep this lifeline of hope and practical help going for earthquake victims as we send four members of our team to the frontlines of this relief effort this weekend? Go here to help feed 10, 20, 50 or even 100 earthquake victims:

Again, what happened in Turkey and Syria is the worst disaster devastation I've ever seen. Mercy Chefs and our partners are feeding thousands EVERY DAY. Four Mercy Chefs team members are in transit right now to bring more assistance so we can reach even more people.

Please continue to pray! And thanks in advance for your help.

God bless,

Gary LeBlanc

P.S. I just saw a report indicating that there is a large funding gap between funds being deployed for relief and the level of need in the earthquake zone. We're helping to feed thousands, but I want to do more. A Mercy Chefs team will be on the ground support relief efforts this weekend. Please help. Go here:
