It has been nearly two months since Ann and I first arrived in Romania and then drove across that country to the border of Ukraine. Recently, we sat down and shared the amazing story of how Mercy Chefs' deployment to Ukraine got started.
Before this happened, I never would have imagined that Mercy Chefs would be deployed to a war zone and tasked with the responsibility of helping to provide a literal lifeline of food and resources to people who were huddling in basements and subway stations just trying to survive the daily devastation of war.
This week, our teams are continuing to provide this lifeline of food and resources to those inside Ukraine. That means we still need your help!
As always, please continue to pray for the people of Ukraine. Pray for our relief workers. Ask God to maximize our efforts. And pray for an end to this war!
God bless,
Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
