The number of displaced families is growing and could skyrocket as this war escalates. Please help by sponsoring 10 or 20 meals today for families in Israel, and see Olena's story below. --Gary

Mercy Chefs is providing hot meals to those who have sought refuge in shelters. One shelter is housing 24 adults and 15 children. Space is tight but the people there are making the best of the situation. Daily between 5:00-8:00am, those in the shelter have access to a shower in the apartment building that is above the shelter. This is the time when rocket activity coming from Hamas is least likely.

+ + Doing our part...

Olena (pictured here) is from Ukraine. She came to Israel this past summer as a tourist. Since the war started, she has been unable to return to Ukraine, so she has stepped up at the shelter and is helping to take care of displaced families and the elderly.

This is what it's going to take -- each of us doing our part. Olena can't return home so she's helping out at her shelter. In the same way, you can help by sponsoring the meals we are serving!

The need in Israel is growing and could increase exponentially as this war continues.

Will you help today by sponsoring even 10, 20, or 50 meals? Go here to help families in Israel:

Our team is working to expand our capacity even further, but we need friends like you partnering with us. Your financial support makes possible each and every chef-prepared meal that we are serving to evacuees and those living in shelters.

Thanks in advance, and please keep the entire nation of Israel in your prayers.

God bless,

Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs

P.S. As you may know, a massive Category 5 hurricane has devastated Acapulco, Mexico. All travel and communication is currently down after this storm caused what the news is calling a "nightmare scenario." We are working on connecting with local partners so we can help as soon as transportation is restored. That means we will be needing your support even more in the coming week. Go here to help sponsor meals for those in need:
