The level of danger is increasing with each passing hour in the Holy Land. Israeli officials have ordered the evacuation of 28 communities along the northern border, while all of Israel braces for the coming battle to defeat Hamas in Gaza.

Air raid sirens blare across Israel. Hamas rockets are still reaching the central part of the country. More fighting is breaking out in northern Israel.

This is a small country -- about the size of New Jersey. No place is truly safe from attack. If Hezbollah to the north fully engages in war, their rockets and missiles could reach every part of Israel.

Israel is surrounded.

And right in the midst of this great conflict, the Lord has opened a door for us to help.

From our base in central Israel, our Mercy Chefs team is providing hot meals, groceries, and other supplies to both evacuees and those who remain near the front lines of this escalating war. But with more communities being evacuated, the need for hot meals and supplies is only increasing.

I want to do more. I want to help even more people.
