Winter Crisis for Flood Victims... Kentucky Families Need Help
There is an urgent need in Eastern Kentucky for food due to the historic flooding last year combined with winter weather that sent communities reeling once again.
Many families do not have a reliable supply of food. As a result, people are lining up FOR SEVERAL HOURS to receive help, and most of the children only have reliable food while they are at school.
Mercy Chefs is serving hot meals NOW!
Mercy Chefs was asked by Senator Rand Paul’s office to be in Eastern Kentucky to help with this critical need. We are now serving meals up to 5,000 meals daily and recently surpassed 40,000- hot meals served!
The people of Eastern Kentucky are suffering greatly right now, and there is almost no media coverage of this crisis! We are relying on friends like you to help make it possible for Mercy Chefs to meet this need.
UPDATE: We are serving DOUBLE the number of meals expected. The need is urgent, and we need your help! Please sponsor 10, 20, 50 or even 100 meals.
Just $50 helps provide 14 meals for flood victims while helping to continue other vital efforts. If you can contribute $70, you'll help feed 20 people; $105 feeds 30 people. Perhaps the Lord has blessed you, and you can sponsor 100 meals ($350), 200 meals ($700), or even 350 meals ($1,000). Please use the form below to make your best possible, tax-deductible gift to Mercy Chefs. Thank you and God bless you!
