Yesterday, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul visited Mayfield to tour the destruction and see the relief efforts that are under way.

Sen. Paul came to the distribution center where Mercy Chefs is based, and I was able to share with the Senator all that your support is making possible. Since within hours of when the tornado struck, Mercy Chefs has been here in Mayfield, serving as a primary provider of hot meals for victims, volunteers and emergency personnel.

+ + We will be serving tornado victims through the Christmas holiday...

The need here is so great that, today, I can confirm that members of our team have volunteered to remain in Mayfield this Christmas and through the holiday. This community was devastated by the tornado strike and has a long way to go on the difficult road to recovery. In addition to providing daily meals, our team will also be preparing a beautiful, chef-designed Christmas dinner for the Mayfield community to help the people here who otherwise may not be able to have a holiday meal.

What all this means is, I'm going to need your partnership and your faithful prayers and financial support THIS WEEKEND and right through the end of the year just to meet the need here in Mayfield.

Can I count on you? Even if you already donated, would you prayerfully consider partnering with Mercy Chefs by helping to sponsor 10, 20, 50 or even 100 or more meals this weekend? Go here to make your tax-deductible gift.

On behalf of those we are serving, thank you so much!

God bless,

Gary
