I want you to see what happened during my recent trip to Puerto Rico, especially how God used the generosity of friends like you to bless this beloved woman who had been without power for months.

As part of "Operation Crisis Recovery," we gave "Mama Teresa" a gas-powered generator. This matriarch of the Toa Baja neighborhood had been without power for six months. Her reaction to receiving this blessing from our donors is priceless.

Since Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico back in September, Mercy Chefs' friends, prayer warriors and donors have been crucial to our success feeding body and soul on the island. Because of the generous support we've received, thousands of fellow Americans have been blessed with hot meals and clean drinking water, and dozens of sick and elderly hurricane victims have received life-changing, gas-powered generators.

As part of "Operation Crisis Recovery," our plan is to stay in Puerto Rico for the next six to 12 months to help the people there heal. If you can help, please go here.

Thanks, and God bless!
