I prepared a brief report for you from Dallas, where Mercy Chefs is responding to the storm that left hundreds of thousands without power this week. Click below to watch:

This is Mercy Chefs' SEVENTH disaster deployment, back-to-back, over the past five weeks. As is the case right now, we have often been deployed at two locations simultaneously.

Our friends in Dallas need our help right now. As I write, tens of thousands still do not have power. We've partnered with a wonderful local church that is located right in the heart of the need and has 700 apartments within a block of their location.

At the same time, we have a Mercy Chefs team still fully engaged in the tornado response in Claremore, Oklahoma, where families are just beginning the long recovery from the storm that devastated their community.

+ + Need help through this weekend...

Our human and physical resources are being stretched. Can you help?

Every gift will make a difference, especially through this weekend. Go here to help sponsor 10, 20, or even 50 hot meals we'll serve in Texas and Oklahoma today through this weekend:

I must admit that our staff is a bit fatigued, but we are more determined than ever to keep delivering hot meals to families impacted by disaster.

Thank you for sending us to those in need. Thank you for uplifting our team with your prayers, your words of encouragement, and your financial support.

May God bless you richly,

Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
