Friday Morning:
Yesterday evening, we arrived in Lake Charles. It was shocking. I would say it is among the three worst hurricane disasters I have ever seen. No power. No water. Massive devastation. Here is my video report:
This community is going to need an immense amount of help, and Mercy Chefs is committed to doing everything we can as fast as we can. But we are going to have to overcome a few hurdles to make that happen, and we are going to need a lot of help from our faithful friends. 
We'll need to bring in water and housing for our staff (there isn't a hotel room available within 125 miles). And since Lake Charles was not evacuated, we must feed the people who are stuck in their homes as quickly as possible.
