The devastation here far exceeds anything that I've witnessed in the aftermath of a natural disaster. City after city has been left in ruins, virtually every building damaged or destroyed.
With our partners, Mercy Chefs is providing thousands of hot meals along with vital resources with the goal of helping as many people as we can. The people here are suffering greatly and they are going to need an enormous amount of help to recover.
Right now, we're standing in the gap to meet the most urgent needs, but we need your help!
Again, this is the worst devastation I've ever seen from a natural disaster. It's the deadliest disaster to ever hit Turkey. More than 40,000 have perished and hundreds of thousands have seen their lives turned upside down.
