Our teams are serving hot meals to tornado victims in two states this weekend and we need your help! Go here to sponsor meals for tornado victims, and see below. --Gary
Chicken & bacon broccoli casserole with a side of green beans, a dinner roll, and a delicious cinnamon roll with honey pecan drizzle.
That's what we served for dinner earlier this week in Moss Point, Mississippi -- yet another community that has been hit hard by a tornado. One of our team members, Joel, is pictured here holding this meal. Joel attended high school in Moss Point, so this deployment is particularly meaningful. This is his community. These are his people.
In a very real way, we reach out to every community we serve as if it were our own hometown. I started Mercy Chefs after I responded to a disaster in my hometown of New Orleans. I wanted my friends and neighbors who were suffering so greatly to have access to quality, hot meals. This is why I launched Mercy Chefs.
Right now, we're serving hot meals to tornado victims in two of our most recently adopted "home towns" -- Moss Point and Perryton, Texas.
Can you help us during a very busy weekend of helping tornado victims in Mississippi and Texas? Just $35 will help us feed 10 tornado victims; $350 will serve 100 people. Every gift will help. Go here to sponsor meals for tornado victims:
In the coming days, we'll provide thousands of meals to tornado victims. And every meal is made possible by friends like you.
Thank you for your prayers and your support. Just knowing someone cares makes a world of difference to a family that just had their lives turned upside down by a disaster.
God bless you richly,
Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
