This situation in both Turkey and Syria remains critical for hundreds of thousands of people. As you know, our Mercy Chefs team was on the ground in Turkey within days of the earthquake strike. We helped establish supply lines and portable kitchens that are feeding thousands of earthquake victims today. 

The road to recovery for those impacted by these earthquakes will be long and difficult. Families are still just beginning to pick up the pieces of their broken lives. Many children are learning in "tent schools" that have been set up to fill the gap with so many school buildings having been damaged or destroyed. A decent meal is still a top priority for far too many people more than one month since the earthquakes struck!
