Monday PM update on Tornado Disaster
Mercy Chefs is here in Rolling Fork and what our team is seeing is almost beyond description...
This massive tornado cut a path right through the heart of this beautiful, small town. It's as if the entire town has been leveled.
The people here are still very much in shock. Families have lost loved ones. Many are just sitting outside the rubble of what used to be their homes or businesses.
In the midst of this tragedy, Mercy Chefs is on the ground, providing chef-quality, hot meals to tornado victims, emergency workers and volunteers.
As I write, we are finishing up our first full day of meal service. Every time we provide hot, nutritious meals immediately after a disaster, those on the receiving end can hardly believe it...
Someone cares enough to come to their town, in the midst of their darkest night, and prepare a chef-quality meal!
{{recipient.first_name_or_friend}}, it's good people like you who make every meal possible!
Will you help us serve thousands more meals to tornado victims here in Rolling Fork over the next 72 hours? Go here to help feed a family in Rolling Fork who was just hit by this tornado disaster:
Just $35 will help sponsor 10 meals for tornado victims. Perhaps you can do more. Many friends are donating $100 (about 29 meals); $250 (70 meals), $500 (140 meals) or even $1,000 (280 meals).
Again, this EF-4 tornado DECIMATED this town.
Please pray.
And please help as you can!
God bless,
Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
