We just received a brief video report from one of our partners inside Ukraine who is helping to distribute Mercy Chefs food and supplies to needy families who are enduring through the fifth month of this horrible war:
Every day, our team is loading up trucks and vans with supplies that begin a journey to a refugee camp, an orphanage, or a distribution point deep inside Ukraine. At the end of the line stands an orphaned child, a young mom with her kids who has been displaced for months from their home, or a Ukrainian on the front-lines of this war who is trying to keep their life together amidst near-constant air-raid sirens, missile attacks and ever-increasing signs of destruction from this war.
It's a miraculous lifeline of hope that started more than four months ago. And every pound of food we deliver starts with the generosity of friends like you.
Your support has helped Mercy Chefs and our partners deliver more than 2.5 million pounds of food and supplies to suffering Ukrainians. With your help, we'll deliver another 100,000 pounds this week.
Can I count on you to help us bring critically-needed relief to Ukrainians in refugee camps, orphanages and on the front-lines of this war this week? Go here to help sponsor 10, 20, 50 or even 100 meals for Ukrainians in need:
Finally and most importantly, PRAY for those who have suffered so much loss these past 4+ months. Pray for the orphans and displaced families. Pray for those who are returning to cities across Ukraine despite the continued threat of attack. And pray for our team as we work to bring as much relief to as many people as possible during this tragic time.
God bless,
Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
