I joined our team in Turkey today. The devastation is almost beyond what you could even imagine. The need is even greater. Please go here to help sponsor meals we'll serve in the next 24 hours, and see below. --Gary

The death toll from the massive earthquakes in Turkey and Syria has risen to more than 36,000, with over 31,000 having died in Turkey. This is the deadliest earthquake to hit Turkey in more than 80 years.

As I write, Mercy Chefs is expanding our relief efforts in Turkey, delivering hot meals daily in over five cities through incredible partners. Huge areas of these cities have been reduced to rubble, as the people here search for hope in the midst of the destruction.

Yesterday, in a remote village between Osmaniye and Iskenderun, we handed out meals to hungry men, women, and children who just needed a moment to rest and experience comfort from digging through the crumbled ruins they once called home. Their faces tell the story...

This is an immense tragedy of human suffering. Mercy Chefs is on the ground providing thousands of meals and relief, BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Over the next 72 hours, we'll serve thousands of meals at the heart of the earthquake strike. Go here to help provide both meals and relief to earthquake victims:

As I noted to you over the weekend, officials are now very concerned about a possible "secondary disaster" due to a desperate lack of basic necessities that could "cause harm to more people than the initial disaster." Mercy Chefs is here to help fill in those very critical gaps.

Please pray for the people here. And thanks in advance for your continued support.

God bless,

Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
