I hope you saw my message from a few days ago about our expanding global outreach (see here).

As I shared, amazing doors are opening for Mercy Chefs to feed thousands every week in several countries. But what you may not know is that Mercy Chefs is also training and equipping locals to launch, improve or expand meal and food distribution efforts that are reaching communities facing severe hardship.

For example, this week our team has been in Tijuana, Mexico, teaching food sanitation and safety training to the incredible women at this shelter who make 1,800 meals every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That's as many as 8,000-10,000 meals every week from this one location!
