Mercy Chefs has an amazing warehouse in Alabama we call our "Storehouse" which has quick access to the nation's tornado and hurricane disaster zones. This Storehouse helps us facilitate the feeding of hundreds of thousands of Americans facing disaster and hardship.

But our Storehouse currently only has a very small freezer. This greatly restricts our ability receive large-scale donations of frozen meats from companies like Tyson Foods and Omaha Steaks. High-qualiity protein is vital aspect of Mercy Chefs' mission to provide the best and most nutritious meals to hurting families.

That's why I'm asking for your help to add a large freezer to our warehouse so we can receive over 100,000 pounds of frozen proteins -- that's beef, chicken and other proteins for over a quarter million meals we'll provide to those facing disaster and hardship.

It will cost $200,000 to purchase, install and maintain this new freezer to help us feed hundreds of thousands of people this year. I'm asking friends like you to help make this happen this month so Mercy Chefs is ready for what is expected to be a very active hurricane season.
