The need here in Lake Charles is still very critical. We'll serve about 7,000 meals today after serving more than 17,000 over the previous two days.

My team just prepared a video in which I share how my heart aches for the good people of Southwestern LouisianaGo here to watch:

We still urgently need your help. The demand has been far in excess of our initial expectations. I just ordered TWO ENTIRE TRUCKLOADS of food that I hope will carry us for a few more days. The costs are already quite staggering. Would you prayerfully consider how you can help today? Go here to make your tax-deductible gift to provide hot meals to Hurricane Delta victims:

+ + The "one" you are helping

Our staff and volunteers often talk about keeping our focus on the "one"...

Who was your "one" today? That one life you will be able to impact?

Every day, we look for these encounters, and they happen over and over again. In a very real way, friends and supporters like you make it possible for us to do this work and reach the thousands of "ones" every day who are in need of a hot meal and some hope in the midst of tragedy.

Thank you so much for partnering with us, and God bless.

Gary LeBlanc

P.S. The people here were still recovering from Hurricane Laura when Delta hit. The piles of debris only got larger. Even more homes are being held together by blue tarps. These folks need our help. Thanks in advance for standing with us to help those in need. Go here to make your gift and sponsor hot meals for disaster victims.
