We are heading into the busiest two weeks of our Christmas meal outreach -- a time when Mercy Chefs wlll provide thousands of hot meals to disaster victims and needy children and families.

This weekend, we'll be in Panama City for a Holiday Celebration meal at our Beacon Of Hope kitchen that has served as our base of operations since early summer. As always, it's the children who steal my heart. I met this little girl last year at one of our post-disaster Christmas events.
Just to put a smile on a child's face during the Christmas season makes it all worthwhile!

We'll also be hosting another hot meal outreach in Panama City next week. Then it's on to Dallas for a special community outreach before our team heads to Grand Bahama Island for an entire week of events and outreaches.

As you can see, these next two weeks are very important. We'll be reaching thousands of people -- many who are still reeling from the devastating effects of recent natural disasters. But we need the support of friends like you to make these outreaches happen!

That's why I'm so grateful that some faithful friends of Mercy Chefs have stepped forward and extended a $40,000 Matching Challenge Grant to Mercy Chefs that we must meet by December 31. This Challenge also DOUBLES the impact of every dollar you donate right now!

+ + The Lord is opening doors!

In addition to these holiday outreaches, the Lord is opening doors that could result in Mercy Chefs providing tens if not hundreds of thousands of additional hot meals every month to disaster victims and displaced and hurting families. But we simply do not have the resources in our budget to take on these massive new opportunities in addition to our ongoing efforts like our holiday outreaches.

That's why I'm turning to key friends of this ministry and asking you to help us meet this special Year-End Matching Challenge.

Can I count on your help this week as we prepare for the busiest two weeks of our holiday outreach season? Please prayerfully consider how you can help. Then, go here to make your tax-deductible gift.

Every dollar will help. Just $50 will help us provide 10 full holiday meals; $100 will help us serve 20 Christmas dinners. Perhaps the Lord has blessed you this year and you want to pass that blessing on to others through a gift of $500, $1,000, or more. This is a great way to reduce your 2019 tax burden and bless those less fortunate this holiday season.

Finally, thank you so much for your prayers and your partnership. Every time we serve these meals, our team is mindful of faithful friends like you who make it all possible. Thank you and God bless you!

Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs

P.S. Our teams will be in Florida, Texas and on devastated Grand Bahama Island in the coming two weeks. We need your help to reach out this Christmas season as we get ready to feed even more people in 2020. As always, your gift to Mercy Chefs -- doubled in impact by this special Year-End Matching Challenge -- is tax-deductible for this year's taxes. Go here.
