Update from Tornado Ravaged Northeast Oklahoma--

This is what remains of the Johnson family home...

It's difficult to imagine the force of an EF-4 tornado until you see it for yourself... or until your town gets hit by such a storm... or until your home gets leveled and you are left to pick through what remains, hoping to find some memories you can salvage.

These are the folks you are helping Mercy Chefs provide with hot meals in these first days after this tornado system swept through Northeast Oklahoma. We are serving families who lost everything. Others are trying to figure out when they can return to their homes. A hot meal served in love and provided by friends is a great blessing.

+ + We're serving in two locations this weekend

This weekend, Mercy Chefs will be serving hot meals to tornado victims in two locations -- Barnsdall and Bartlesville. These are two of the hardest-hit communities.

That first weekend after a storm can be really difficult, because there is no "weekend," no break from the crisis.

Would you consider helping us this weekend as we serve meals to tornado victims?

I'm so grateful for the prayers and support of so many friends across the country. Your faithfulness inspires our team every day. Thank you so much and may God richly bless you.
