I'm facing an increasingly difficult situation in McAllen, Texas.
As you know, we've served over 100,000 meals. Sadly, the crisis is only worsening. And the ones suffering the most are moms and young children.
Simply put, we've more than exhausted the funds we have planned for this outreach. Now I'm facing the reality that, effective this week, we must seriously cut back on the number of meals we can provide.
I want to do more, especially for the children who only seem to stop crying when we serve them a hot meal.
So I'm asking...
Right now, the moms and their children who are suffering in the midst of the border crisis are at the very epicenter of the most urgent need we are seeing. I don't want to cut back. I want to help these hurting families.
Please pray for these moms and their children. And also pray for our team and this effort. We need a BREAKTHROUGH in order to continue this vital service.
Thanks in advance, and God bless you for blessing others.

P.S. The kids we are seeing quite often come to us in tears.
We get them a hot meal and the crying stops. Then, they want FRUIT! They crave any kind of fruit. Will you help Mercy Chefs feed body and soul for families caught in the crossfire of our border crisis? Go here:
