As I shared with you earlier this week, we just had a second critical need arise in Uganda.

We recently learned that one of the communities we help in Uganda lost its water well. This well was their only source for clean drinking water. Mothers are now forced to drink and gather water from contaminated puddles.

Without safe drinking water, people will die! That's why Mercy Chefs is taking action to help get that well restored. We are also working to get piping installed so this well can serve two communities.

At the same time, we are continuing to support a vital feeding program at the area hospital. This one hospital saw 150 patients perish, mostly from malnutrition, in the month prior to our feeding program starting. Thanks to you, Mercy Chefs is helping to provide two meals daily to every hospital patient.

Both of these are critical, life-saving relief efforts that rely on the generosity of friends like you.

Can you help?

I'm hoping that enough friends will partner with us today through the weekend to build a new well while also sustaining our hospital meal program through the fall months.

Thanks for your faithful partnership and may God bless you!

P.S. My team has never seen such desperate conditions. And now with a well broken and no drinking water, even more lives are at risk. Go here to help save lives in Uganda:
