EVENING UPDATE: Thousands of Hurricane Francine victims STILL without power SIX DAYS later! Please click here to help us serve our 20,000th meal TONIGHT.

We just saw a report indicating that, after six days, power is still out for thousands of Hurricane Francine victims. Approximately 3,000 homes have been affected by this long-term outage, and Mercy Chefs is doing our best to help as many as we can.

Our team expects to serve our 20,000th meal of deployment tonight! That number shows the INCREDIBLE NEED that has existed here since we began feeding body and soul in Houma, Louisiana, last week.

Some of the "lower bayou areas" are still without power, so that's where Mercy Chefs is focusing a portion of our relief efforts today. Will you help us deliver hot meals to some of the families hardest hit by Hurricane Francine?

Please stand with us to feed body and soul in Louisiana tonight. Click here or on the banner below to make a tax-deductible gift now:

$70 helps sponsor 20 hot meals;

$105 feeds 30 victims of this disaster;

$350 provides 100 hot meals.

As I mentioned in this morning's update (see below), we don't want the people of this community to feel forgotten just six days after the hurricane hit. Mercy Chefs expects to stay here until Wednesday, preparing and serving thousands of meals. Please click here to help us feed body and soul.

Thank you, in advance, for your financial and prayer support.

God bless you,

Gary LeBlanc

Monday morning:

MONDAY A.M.: Hurricane Francine victims are STILL lining up for hours to get a hot meal. Please click here to show hurting families you haven't forgotten them.

As Hurricane Francine moves out of the "news cycle," I want to make sure the people in this community aren't left behind. I'm writing you this morning to ask you NOT to forget the thousands of victims trying to move forward after this horrible natural disaster.

This powerful Category 2 storm devastated the Houma, Louisiana, area six days ago with heavy rains and severe flooding not seen since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Yesterday, victims were STILL lining up for hours to get help.

Since Mercy Chefs deployed here last week, our team has prepared and served more than 16,000 hot meals to families who have lost everything. Click here now to help us continue feeding body and soul today.

+ + Mercy Chefs is serving thousands of hot, chef-prepared meals again TODAY!

As a friend and supporter of our efforts, I know you understand the impact of your support. For years, I've told you how something amazing happens over a shared meal. Life becomes "normal" again for a few, precious moments.

Please help us feed the bodies and souls of thousands more hurricane victims in Louisiana today. Click here or on the banner below to make your best tax-deductible gift now:

Our team does more than feed the body. When you help Mercy Chef deploy in a disaster area, we also feed the soul. Our team carries much more than food, water and other provisions. We also bring the hope of Jesus Christ.

Can I count on you to help us do that today by sponsoring 10, 20, 50 or even 100 meals? Any amount helps. Click here to make your best tax-deductible gift now.

Thank you, in advance, for your faithful prayers and generous financial support.

God bless you,

Gary LeBlanc
