I have an URGENT NEED...
One of the refrigeration trucks we rented for this deployment went down overnight last night. Our team had already prepared pulled pork for over 7,000 beautiful meals we planned to serve today, along with hundreds of pounds of ground beef, 600 hamburger patties, and pounds and pounds of Italian sausage and cheddar cheese.
This was THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS of proteins... ALL LOST!
On top of that, we had to quick-order another entire truckload of groceries so we could have enough food for lunch.
The total bill of what we lost and this emergency purchase is OVER $70,000!
I need help in an urgent way.
Yesterday, we served just under 10,000 meals,
bringing our total to over 26,000 meals for this deployment. There are still tens of thousands without power who need help.
Losing the refrigeration truck last night was a blow. But we must press on.
Lunch is being served as I write. Dinner is next.
Please help meet this critical need, and thanks in advance.
