From Clarksville, TN--

I'm here in Clarksville where damage from the EF-3 tornado that ripped through this community is quite extensive:

Local Emergency Management officials are reporting that 971 residential sites were either damaged or destroyed. That total includes apartments and multi-family homes, so the number of families impacted is even greater. The tornado cut right through residential neighborhoods where homes have been turned into debris fields.

+ + We're serving hot meals to tornado victims TODAY...

Our team arrived here within 24 hours of the tornado's strike, and we've been serving first responders and disaster victims non-stop since then. Yesterday, we provided both hot lunch and dinner. Today, our team is hard at work preparing for the increasing demand.

This is why Mercy Chefs exists -- to bring relief in the form of chef-prepared, hot meals to those who are hit by disaster and hardship.

Will you help Mercy Chefs provide hot meals TODAY to tornado victims and first responders here in Clarksville? Go here to sponsor 10, 20, 50, or even 100 meals:

Yesterday for lunch, our team served a hot meal that hit the spot -- pasta with Italian sausage, Caesar salad, a breadstick and an orange for dessert. The people here are so grateful for these meals. When they thank us, I let them know that friends like you across the country made their hot meal possible.

Please pray for the people of Clarksville and surrounding communities. Christmas is less than two weeks away. Yet here, families are mourning the loss of loved ones and trying to rebuild their lives and their homes.

Thanks in advance for your help.

May God bless you,

Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs
