We are just one week out from our planned official launch of Mercy Chefs' "Beacon of Hope" center here in Paducah -- a perfect location for serving the needs of tornado victims across the western half of Kentucky.

Every day brings new challenges. The entire region is watching closely as winter storm Izzy is expected to bring over a foot of snow to some areas. Here in Kentucky, Mercy Chefs has been serving meals non-stop since just hours after the tornado struck -- including through the freezing temperatures and snow that hit us last week.

This weekend, we'll serve hundreds more meals and we need your help! Will you help sponsor meals for tornado victims as we rush to equip the new "Beacon of Hope" center to serve the needs of this region in the weeks and months to come? Go here to make your tax-deductible gift, and go here for more details on our new outreach center.

God bless,

Gary

P.S. People are amazed at the quality of the chef-prepared meals your generosity is making it possible for us to serve. Here's a recent meal in final preparations. Please help this weekend if you can. Go here.
