I've been sharing with you this week about this crisis situation in Uganda, and how Mercy Chefs is responding.
Today, I want you to hear from Pastor Sam, our partner on the ground who is heading up this life-saving outreach that your support is making possible. Please watch this video for a one-of-a-kind inside look at the situation in Uganda:
+ + We still need help...
Mercy Chefs has been working with Pastor Sam and Youth With A Mission to provide two meals daily to patients at the hospital in Kaboong. These meals are literally saving lives.
This week, we're asking Mercy Chefs friends to partner with us to help keep this lifeline of meals going for the rest of the summer into the fall.
We are short of our goal of finding 250 friends to help by sponsoring meals this week. Amazingly, we can provide about 500 meals for just $100.
Can you help us us meet this urgent need?
This is a very critical situation. The meals you are helping to provide are saving the lives of hospital patients. The month before this feeding program started, 150 patients died, mostly of malnutrition.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Gary LeBlanc
