This past weekend, I met another child who stole my heart...

Our Mercy Chefs team was in Panama City to serve the dear folks still struggling in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael. Thanks to your faithful partnership, we were able to provide a beautiful Christmas dinner and bring the joy of the season to these children and their families. I served as “Santa Chef” as we gave gifts to all the children and gift cards to their parents.

It was an amazing time. There were tears of thankfulness because many of these families likely were not going to be able to have much of a celebration this Christmas.

+ + Christmas outreaches continue..

Now, our team is gearing up for a full week of activities, including two Christmas dinner outreaches in Dallas today and Friday along with another in Panama City tomorrow as part of the "Spread The Joy" event in cooperation with the local Air Force base. We're also planning a homeless Christmas outreach in Panama City this weekend. On top of this, Mercy Chefs will be providing much-needed resources and supplies in support of special Christmas events on hard-hit Grand Bahama Island.

This is a very important and busy week for our Christmas outreaches and we need your help! As I've noted, some faithful friends of Mercy Chefs have stepped forward and extended a $40,000 Matching Challenge Grant to Mercy Chefs that DOUBLES the impact of every dollar you donate right now. That means your gift today will help us reach twice as many people -- $25 doubled to $50 will help serve 10 meals; $50 doubled to $100 will help provide 20 meals, and so on.

Will you help Mercy Chefs provide thousands of hot meals THIS MONTH with a special gift today -- DOUBLED in impact by this special Matching Challenge? Go here to make your tax-deductible gift:

Your support is helping Mercy Chefs bring relief to folks whose lives have been turned upside down by disaster while Mercy Chefs gears up for even more outreaches in the new year. And we're serving FULL holiday meals this month (here's what we served this weekend in Florida -- turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and green beans.

Will you help us reach out this week to hurricane victims on Grand Bahama Island? Please prayerfully consider how you can partner with us this month. Then, go here to make your tax-deductible gift.

Thanks in advance, and God bless!

Gary LeBlanc, Mercy Chefs

P.S. Again, please note that your gifts between now and the end of the month will be doubled by the generous Year-End Matching Challenge until we reach the $40,000 goal. Go here to make your gift:
